WWE Wrestlemania invites players into the ring as WWE superstars, challenging them to embark on a quest to claim the esteemed WWE worldwide heavyweight champion title. Wrestlers undergo training and compete in a series of matches, paving their way towards the ultimate goal—Wrestlemania glory.
Both the WWE Pro and the Limited Edition machines showcase an innovative upper pinball playfield that resembles a wrestling ring. Controlled by the flipper buttons, players maneuver two Slammer slingshot-style kickers positioned within the ropes of the ring. Initiating a wrestling match involves completing a bank of three drop targets. To pin opponents in the ring and score points, players aim shots into a kick-out hole. Success hinges on keeping the ball within the ring and strategically hitting multiple targets to progress through the match. Numerous ramps guide the ball’s trajectory during gameplay, accentuated by dazzling lightshows across the all-LED playfield. Additionally, the game includes ten licensed songs, featuring intro music specific to wrestlers chosen by players. Commentary by WWE announcers Jerry “The King” Lawlor and Michael Cole amplifies the play-by-play excitement.
